In 2008 a photography Love Storm swept the nation.  It was called Giving is Awesome and it made, from what I can tell, many families extremely happy.
Though it started out as a formal movement, it has evolved to photographers taking their own initiative to give.  awww.
Here's how you can get involved:
Write me an email telling me about a family that you feel could really use a free family portrait for the holidays this year.  Maybe they've been hit by the economic shit storm, maybe they've had a shit storm of their own.  Whatever the case: they can't afford it, they would love it, it just might brighten up their day a little.

Here's what YOU get for nominating them:
A free portrait session with T.Spoon Photography.

Here's what THEY get:  A portrait session and $500 worth of prints! So fun, right?
I love this crap.

So, get writing and let me know.  I'll make the choice my December 24th and will send you an email.  You can decide how to tell the lucky winners!
My personal email is: taramorris@gmail.com

**pleeeease spread the word about this! The family who needs this most just may be a few degrees of separation from you!****

Talk about loving your gig.  This shoot was on an unseasonably warm November day at a gorgeous home in Hyannis with *this* family.  The genetics on this crew is pretty outrageously awesome, and despite my envy I loved these peeps!  Super, super nice boys and stab-yourself nice parents (and grandparents).  Ya, pictures say 1,000 words I hear.  Right about now I'm super psyched about that.
Enjoy. Love. Thank you.

Ding ding, there's a new person on the planet!  And she's cuuuuuute.  And she's way lucky and way loved and way small!  Her name is Kayla, you don't know her yet but when you meet her you'll fall in love.  obv.  Her parents are some of my favorite full grown humans ever.  They're both incredibly kind and gentle and loving, sincere and hard working, generous and funny, gorgeous and honest.  And they found one another and made a person. psssshhhh, life rocks.
Enjoy. Love. Thank you.

Cute Factory goes multi cultural.  Bring it.  Love brown people, love small people, really love brown small people. Precocious as they were, I chased these three cuties around their backyard until they were done exhausting me and their parents.  Jelly beans are the universal bribe tactic and I was grateful for every sugary mouthful.
Thank you. Enjoy. Love.

Hey cancer? Pick on someone your own size. serrrrrrriously.  Elena is going to live a long and healthy and happy life, but her parents do not appreciate you swinging by in her second year in life.  RUDE!
Anyway, I swung by their home on a Saturday morning to photograph an absolutely awesome, giggly, sweet, happy, grateful home.  It was my pleasure, it was true happiness.  Me love.
Thank you. Enjoy. LOVE!

I just randomly popped over to your site and I read the post and then saw the second picture and that was it. Tears spilled out instantly.

I can't remember the last time that has happened.
