Cuuuuuties.  All of 'em.  Loved this family, kinda wanted to stay for a beer (always a good sign).  Not much more to say other than that.  We hung out at home and then headed to where Lily will probably go to school since she's super into Hilary Clinton's education: Wellesley College.  Lily For President!

Aww little Jack!  How cute is this kid!?  He's only three months in these pictures so we went ahead and signed him up for high school football early.  And to make him even cuter, his room is one of the sweetest I've seen.  Enough of me. Let's look at this adorable family, shall we.

How lucky am I to have found Brian Rand therefore finding Trephin (never mind three of my favorite friends of all time)?! Brian just won Best Woman's Haircut in the Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2011.  I'm super psyched I have both Brian and Moe Smith workin' all up on my locks.  Truly helps the rock star look when...rock stars are the creators.
This salon, at it's one year anniversary in July 2011, already racked up a bunch of awards from Boston Phoenix and the aforementioned Boston Magazine.  This whole crew is crazy talented, super creative, bursting with personality and love, and I have truly felt at home every time I have gone in. 
I'm very proud of the Trephin team for all they have have accomplished, and I'm extremely proud to have been asked to photograph their portraits for their new website.

Sometimes family photographers just get lucky, what can I say.  This family, as you'll see, was such a joy to photograph. They are clearly gorgeous and in love with each other.  Little Sophia is independent, funny, inquisitive, and sweet.  Ciro is a living hug. A round, brown, balancing but not walking hug.  Karla and Gilly are gorgeous, cool, kind, honest, and generous.  I feel incredibly lucky to be able to document this gorgeous crew, I hope these photographs bring them back to this blessed time in their lives for the rest of their lives.
