Kristen and I have been friends since she moved next door to me in Marshfield, MA in 1978. For 31 years she has been the most kind, thoughtful, light hearted, hilarious, loyal, sweet friend I could ever wish for. We are more like sisters than friends and I have wondered more than a hundred times how I got so lucky to have her move next door. My life is full of beautiful friends, and she was the first.
I love you so much, Kris. And your family? They make me weak. I see you in each one of them. How lucky they are to have you as a mom. And Mark is the luckiest guy I know. But he already knows that.
Here's to our next 31 years, baby.
love. love. love.
Introducing Drew. Age 7 (next month). I was lucky enough to be there for his first report card!
And Beau, age 5.5
And Maeve, Age 3
The whole fam damily...
And a series of photographs that sums up all sorts of sibling hilarity. Beau, the architect, was trying to make a fort and Drew and Maeve were off their rockers with the giggles. I was trying to wind them up all day :). I think the pictures say it all.
